In the center piece between the T-tops where the driver, passenger dome lights are. There is the little fan with a harness going into it as shown in the picture below. Tap into the blue wire which gets power only when the car is on. Cut one end of the RJ-11 connector and there should be I believe 4 wires, 2 of which are not uses. Only the center 2 I believe are used to power the V1. Use the other connector provided that has the fuse so if something should blow, it's the fuse.
 Splice it all together as shown and put it back together. You'll have to shove the fuse in there good otherwise the domelight assembly won't want to snap in. What you don't see is that after I cut the RJ-11 connector off, I loosened my rear view mirror, pulled on it a little and fed the wire through so everything is hidden. The end result is this which a lot of people have done different ways. My friend installed his to tap off of the passenger light switch so he can manually turn it on and off. I don't like this for the sole purpose that you can forget to turn it on/off.
